Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Pump Fitter to work at our Sheffield site.

Activities undertaken are both diverse and challenging as they cover all aspects of inspection and disassembly of industry pumps.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

Key tasks include:-

• Carry out basic mechanical testing to establish pump condition
• Accuratly assess and observe damage and wear on various machines
• Undertake works to a high standard on a first-time fix basis where possible
• Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accuratley and on time
• Must be methodical and accurate and make notes and reports during the disassembly process
• Ensure exceptional levels of customer care
• Work indepently as well as part of a team

Qualifications & Experience 

The successful applicant will possess:-

• Hold a qualificaion in Mechanical Engineering either C&G or NVQ equivalent
• Previous experience within a mechanincal environment
• Experience of roatating equipment as well as route cause analyses and measuring
• Be able to travel short durations as and when required for specific site work (Commercial Vehicle supplied)
• Use industry equipment correctly and safely during the repair process
